One of my rats has learned that if she piles up the food in the corner with the water bottle, it drains the water out of the bottle, and thus they get fresh bedding, food, and treats. But most importantly- attention. 

So she’s started doing this every few days- and I KNOW its her because I come in to do daily checks and the other three rats are huddled away from the soggy bedding, and she’s front and center, face pressed against the front of the cage. 

So to fix her wagon, I started putting the bottle up higher where the food couldn’t reach it, no matter how tall she piles it up?
