if tumblr were halfway trustworthy with their ability to flag content consistently and reasonably, honestly i’d be like “you know? that’s fair” because this entire issue stemmed from a mass of literal, actual child porn left unaddressed, and if going nuclear is what it takes to protect minors from something so horrific then honestly so be it—but if tumblr could be trusted to filter content we wouldn’t be having this issue in the first place lmao

As someone who’s worked in several cafes, I’m mad at how accurate this is.

I will forever remember the time my friend and I were out for chinese food. we got up to pay and I (the short one with bottom energy i guess?) revealed that I would be paying for the meal, and the elderly man at the counter just flat out said “Oh, YOU’RE the boss!”
